July 5, 6:30 PM – two-act ballet “La Traviata”
MCCM (Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, 1)
La Traviata directed by Radu Poklitaru is, first of all, a performance imbued with immense love for the great original source, the opera of the same name by Giuseppe Verdi. Infused with the beauty of Italian bel canto, the story of Violetta’s tragic love and death appears as a hymn to self-sacrifice, devotion and resilience – qualities that only a Woman is capable of.
