In this production, inspired by the polyphonic music of the great Johann Sebastian Bach, choreographer Radu Poklitaru reflects on the paradox inherent in the notion of female friendship and on the nature of envy. This ballet fresco, this multi-voiced choreographic tapestry - at times detached, at times tinged with a sorrowful smile-mirrors the inner architectonics of Bach’s musical thought and the coexistence of individuals within a timeless human tribe.
